Moisture resistant gypsum board is a backing material for ceramic and quarry tile, as well as plastic or metal tile in building construction. The product core contains a water-resistant additive that provides increased water resistance. It can be used for non-tile applications.

The surfacings on both faces and on the long edges are 100% recycled paper. The front face paper, which receives the tile finish, is a green color. The ends are square cut. The product is popularly known as “Greenboard.”
