Our Engineered Wood Department is unmatched in it’s customer service and superior quality. There is no Engineered Wood Department in Georgia, in Athens, Lawrenceville or Atlanta that does what we do!

Our in-house Engineered Wood Department is totally self-sufficient. We take care of our customers from the moment we get a floor plan to the moment WE inspect the floors to ensure they’re built to code. We use optimization software & fully integrated CAD design to make every cut as cost effective for you as it can possibly be. Each cut is made by a state of the art computer driven saw with an automated HVAC Chase Cutter, rather than hand-cut with a chainsaw, giving cuts to exact lengths (within 1/64 of an inch).

We are especially proud of our engineered floor system design using Boise Engineered Wood Products such as BCI Joists and Versa-Lam LVL. We purchase these in 48, 60 and 66 foot lengths, and cut them to the exact lengths (within 1/64 of an inch) required for a particular house plan. We also route the holes for HVAC ductwork. Builders are supplied with a detailed floor drawing (in English & Spanish) showing where each joist is to be placed making laying your floors fast, easy & cost-saving.
